Happy Birthday To Jake

Jake's 13. Where does the time go. He chose to go to The Olive Garden for dinner. We went to the Mall of America, after dinner, so he could look for a new hat. He picked out the purple and lime green FOX hat he is wearing in the picture and he got a black Longhorns hat (not pictured).

I would have posted this yesterday but a certain someone was not feeling well, was tired and in no way wanted to be wearing this contraption. Friday she hurt her finger at gymnastics. Monday it was still swollen and was starting to bruise. Jake had to get a booster shot so Tom checked to see if our pediatrician would check out Gabrielle's finger. She was booked so they were going to have someone else look at her finger but MaryBeth (their pediatrician) ended up coming in to check on her. After an x-ray it was determined she fractured her pinkie. She had to go to TRIA to see an orthopedic doctor. She is not happy about having to wear this splint for at least two weeks but she got to design it herself.
